Volunteer Positions are closed for 2008.  We hope to see you next year.

There are volunteer positions for every type of person - whether you want to be at the center of the competition or behind the scenes.  Please send us an e-mail with your contact information. We will send you volunteer information when available. Sign up before September 12 to be guaranteed an official Marathon Volunteer T-shirt.

VOLUNTEER POSITIONS:

1. Course Marshall: Help keep runners on course and ensure safety.

2. Crowd Control - Finish: Direct runners after finish chutes and manage restricted area access.

3. Expo Operations: Assist in set-up and service.

4. Expo Registration & Pick-up: Distribute numbers and T-shirts.

5. Finish Chutes: Assist runners with medals, blankets and chip removal.

6. Finish Operations: Assist with set-up and tear-down of finish areas.

7. Food Distribution: Assist organization and distribution of refreshments to participants and volunteers.

8. Gear Check: Help collect runners’ bags and redistribute.

9. Information Booths: Answer questions from participants, volunteers and spectators.

10. Shuttle Buses: Assist relay runners with locating, loading and exiting buses.

11. Split Timer: Call out times and pace at mile markers.

12. Start Line Operations: Help with signs, crowd direction & control, and cleanup. No heavy lifting.

13. Water Logistics: Assist distribution to fluid stations.

14. Any Way I Can: Help with any areas that need assistance.
